Position: Optical Engineer

Location: Siruseri, Chennai

Experience: 4 to 5 years

Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optical Engineer. The Optical Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end development, simulation, and testing of Terahertz (THz) systems. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing optical systems, developing and optimizing laser systems alongside comprehensive data analysis and interpretation. The engineer will also perform physics-based experiments and design new system components to advance our core technology.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
  •  A Master's or PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Physics degree
  • Strong knowledge of femtosecond lasers, free-space optics, and fiber-based optics and fiber alignments.
  • Expertise in optical design and system-level simulations
  • Proficiency in rigorous data analysis and interpretation using Python
  • Strong understanding of fundamental physics and experience in systems design (integrating both software and hardware)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in the development, assembly, and testing of Terahertz systems/ Optomechanical system
  • Knowledge of optoelectronic semiconductor materials and electromagnetic antenna design principles

Job Description:

Salary Range: ₹5 – 8 LPA (based on qualifications, skills, and expertise)The Manager – Finance & Compliance will oversee all financial operations, statutory obligations, and governance activities at TeraLumen Solutions.

The role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, funding support, and audit coordination while ensuring full compliance with GST, Income Tax, and Companies Act regulations. The manager will also develop internal control systems, support ISO 9001/13485 documentation, and contribute to strategic financial planning across R&D, manufacturing, and project operations. This position plays a key role in driving financial integrity, transparency, and efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  •  Prepare and maintain monthly MIS, budgets, and financial statements as per statutory norms.
  •  Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act requirements.
  •  Coordinate statutory, internal, and cost audits and close observations on time.
  •  Lead annual budgeting and forecasting; monitor variances and recommend corrective actions.
  •  Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost efficiency across departments.
  •  Support management in funding, financial planning, and investor reporting.
  •  Implement and maintain Tally ERP and internal control systems.
  • Drive process automation and improve financial data accuracy and transparency.

Position: Business Development Manager: Advanced NDT (Terahertz)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced B2B business development/sales professional with a strong background in NDT technologies (ultrasonic, X-ray/radiography, microwave, and eddy current) and proven experience selling technical inspection products and solutions to aerospace, automotive, or oil and gas customers. This role will drive commercialization of advanced NDT solutions, including Terahertz, by identifying high-value use cases, managing the full sales cycle, and converting pilots/POCs into production deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Industry Commercialization: Build an industry roadmap and track competitors and customers. alternatives (UT, CT, microwave, thermography) and position Terahertz clearly
  • Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle from lead to commercial closure & build and maintain a strong pipeline, forecasts, and quarterly targets.
  • Providing the Solution: Work with engineering teams to define demo plans, pilot trials, and deployment timelines.
  • Channel Development: Build partnerships with NDT service providers, system integrators, robotics/automation partners, and industry consultants to accelerate adoption.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Physics, Photonics, or related fields.
  • 5–10 years in B2B sales / BD of NDT, inspection, test & measurement, or industrial instrumentation.
  • Hands-on exposure to selling or supporting UT / X-ray / microwave NDT solutions.
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise deals with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
  • Strong capability to sell high-value technical solutions (POCs, validation-based selling, long sales cycles).
  • Comfortable with travel, plant/site environments, and customer demonstrations.

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Physics, Photonics, or related fields.
